EDMONTON — The Winnipeg Wesmen had a modest win streak snapped Friday in a three-set loss to the Alberta Pandas.

Emma Parker had 11 kills and hit .320 for the night, but the Wesmen women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-14) decision to the host Pandas. Parker also added five digs. 

Winnipeg fell to 2-5 while Alberta improved to 3-4. 

Setter Rylie Dickson had 23 assists and a team-high 10 digs for Winnipeg, which was coming off back-to-back wins over the Brandon Bobcats last week. 

The Wesmen hit .065 on the match while Alberta, which was led by Kory White's 13 kills, hit .387.

The two teams meet again Saturday night.
